Konfidence Analytics is a data analytics and research company based in Botswana. We respect your privacy and handle personal data in line with the Botswana Data Protection Act, 2024.
What we collect
Depending on the project: your name and contact details; answers you give in surveys and interviews; sports performance data and match footage; and business data shared with us by our clients.
Why we use it
To deliver analysis and research for our clients, to produce anonymised reports, and to communicate with clients and prospective clients. We never sell your data.
Our legal basis
Your consent, a contract with you or our client, or our legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights. We always ask for consent before collecting sensitive data, and we ask a parent or guardian for anyone under 18.
Who sees it
Our team and the client the project is for, plus service providers bound by confidentiality. Some of our software providers store data outside Botswana; we choose providers with strong data protection and put safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
Only as long as the project needs. Survey data is anonymised within 6 months of the final report.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. We reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information and Data Protection Commission.
